A self-described "sanctuary for both artist and audience," this gallery offers a refined yet unpretentious setting for viewing some of the area's top artwork, much of it by local and regional artists. The well-lit gallery has an open design, allowing patrons to view each piece individually without having vantage points obstructed by other paintings or statues. Stark white walls and exposed ductwork only add to the Blue Gallery's contemporary appeal.

One of Kansas City's more renowned galleries, the Byron C. Cohen gallery carries an extensive collection of contemporary ceramics, paintings, photography, sculpture and videos. Among the pieces in the gallery's collection are works by such noted artists as sculptor Terry Allen, oilists Hung Liu and Leslie Wayne, mixed media artist Leslie Lerner, and photographer Petah Coyne. The gallery also hosts several professional exhibits each year.

Housed in an impressively restored 19th century warehouse, the Sherry Leedy Gallery boasts a vast collection of contemporary art featuring a variety of media from international and national artists. Aside from hosting regular exhibits, the Sherry Leedy also features several "house" artists. Past and present artists who have had works on display include ceramics sculptor Peter Voulkas, oilist Sharon Patten, stoneware specialist John Balistreri, and acrylicist Ryuhei Rex Yuasa.
